How to arrive by car

From Montevideo you take the Route Interbalnearia until the intersection with Route No. 9 in Pan de Azúcar. From there you drive on Route No. 9 until the intersection with Route No. 15 in Rocha. On Route 15 you drive until the first roundabout in La Paloma (28 kilometers) where you turn right at the first exit.

From Brazil you take BR 471 until Chuy. From there you take Route No. 9 until the intersection with Route No. 15 in Rocha. On Route No. 15 you drive until the first roundabout in La Paloma (about 28 kilometes) where you turn right at the first exit.

From Brazil you may also take Route No. 9 until the intersection with Route No. 10 in Castillos, drive on Route No. 10 until the intersection with Route No.15, turn left until the first roundabout in La Paloma, where you turn right at the first exit.

How to arrive by bus
At the Central Bus Station of Montevideo (Terminal de Ómnibus Tres Cruces) you will find three bus companies which take you to La Paloma:

How to arrive by ship?
From Argentina you may choose one of the many companies which go from Buenos Aires to Colonia or to Montevideo. Companies with regular services are Buquebus and Ferryturismo.

How to arrive by aircraft
Montevideo Airport Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco is located 228 kilometres from La Paloma. Pluna and Aerolíneas Argentinas have regular flights to Montevideo. At the airport you may take any of the buses coming from the Central Bus Station (see how to arrive by bus) and going on to La Paloma.
Punta del Este Airport Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta del Este is located 92 kilometres from La Paloma. From there you may take a taxi or remise service.
